#3 Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes was deployed in an attacking midfielder role with the freedom to stay up front and concentrate only on the attack. The Portuguese was brilliant from start to finish and showed signs of the player he was last season.

Bruno got the assist for the first goal, and the ball to Ronaldo was exquisite. The inch-perfect ball over the Tottenham defense gave them no chance to clear, and it fell perfectly for the new signing to volley into the far post.

#2 Edinson Cavani

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the brave decision to start Edinson Cavani today after he claimed the Uruguayan trained the hardest he has ever seen at Manchester United. The former PSG striker did not disappoint as he linked up well with Ronaldo and Bruno.

He got his goal in the second half after Ronaldo played him through on goal. The Uruguayan was smart enough to chip the ball over a charging Hugo Lloris and slot home United's second of the night.

Overall, he has made a case for Ole to start with two up front in the upcoming games. Even if the manager is replaced, the incoming one will have to go in with Cavani leading the attack.

#1 Cristiano Ronaldo

Another big game, another big performance. After a frustrating outing against Liverpool last week, Cristiano Ronaldo needed to show the world that he was still on top of his game.

The Portuguese wanted to prove that signing him did not take Manchester United a step back. He took the game on like a final and left the Tottenham Hotspur stadium with a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win. Speaking to the media after the game, Ronaldo said:

"We knew before the game that we had a tough week [after] a result that we didn't expect. The team was a little bit under pressure, a little bit sad, but we knew that today we [could] give a good answer. We played good, we started the game very well. Of course my job is to help the team with my experience, my goals, my assists and I did that today and I feel so pleased with that. But in terms of the team, it was an unbelievable performance in my opinion."

If Ronaldo keeps playing like he did today, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might remain in charge for a long time to come.
