The man who is tasked with carrying Messi’s legacy forward is a star himself. Paulo Dybala, since moving into the Juventus set up from Palermo, has evolved into a fascinating prospect in world football and had one of the finest years of his career last season. However, he was underutilized in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, as Argentina crashed out from the Quarterfinals.

An excellent dribbler of the ball, Dybala mixes his raw pace with his excellent technique and can be a menace for opposition defenses. He has excellent close control and is strong while protecting the ball from the opponents, qualities which has seen him rise and rise into one of the best players in the world right now. He is particularly effective in counter attacks, where his speed and skills enable him to skip past defenders and break offside traps with ease. He is fabulous with his passing as well and likes to set up his teammates as well as score himself.
Dybala’s versatility makes him very effective across the front three, but his preferred position is the right of the front three, where he can cut inside to his left foot and what an outstanding left foot this boy is blessed with! He is strong with his penalties and free kicks and also likes to curl the ball into the far corner from his left foot. Dybala is still only 24 years old and as such, will get even better, a scary prospect for the defenders, but if that left foot can get any better, the football world is in for a treat.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
