The German international once again orchestrated proceedings for Los Blancos in midfield, as he created a lot of chances for Zinedine Zidane's men. Kroos made a lot of incisive passes in the game, and he also had a couple of gilt-edged opportunities.

Toni Kroos' most telling contribution came late on, as he floated in a precision cross from a freekick in the 85th minute for Casemiro to finish for the decisive equaliser.

The German was on top of things for Real Madrid, with a total of 8 key passes, 3 shots, and 3 successful dribbles.

Flop: Ruud Vormer (Club Brugge)

The Club Brugge captain had a pretty decent game, with a commendable defensive contribution. The 31-year-old made 3 successful tackles, 1 interception, 2 clearances, and blocked shots twice.

However, all that was undone in the second half when he received 2 yellow cards. For the first, he caught Eden Hazard with a high boot and was booked by the referee.

His most telling contribution came in the 84th minute of play, as he rashly challenged Vinicius Junior a few yards from his box and was issued a second yellow card and a dismissal. That gave Real Madrid a numerical advantage, and Los Blancos equalised from the resultant freekick.
