AS Roma and Alessandro Florenzi are currently embroiled in extension talks. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Florenzi has asked for a pay raise and guarantees over playing time which has slowed down the process of a new deal. Chelsea are monitoring the situation and may swoop in for the right back if talks break down between the two parties.
Arsenal reach an agreement for Lucas Torreira
Calcio Sampdoria has revealed that Arsenal have reached an agreement with Sampdoria for the transfer of midfielder Lucas Torreira. The Uruguayan had a release clause of €25 million which has reportedly been activated by the Gunners.
With Borussia Dortmund also interested, Torreira's agent Pablo Bentancur has asked for a week's time to evaluate all the offers for the 22-year-old. His €25 million release clause is valid only until the end of the month.
