Mario Götze keeping the door open for a move to Liverpool

The Borussia Dortmund attacker has sparked rumours of a move to Liverpool by claiming that he is keen on a reunion with Jurgen Klopp. The duo shares a strong bond with Klopp being the manager that gave him his debut at Borussia Dortmund.

In a documentary titled 'Being Mario Götze', the German says, "I decided to leave Bayern and Jurgen Klopp was interested in getting me to Liverpool. And I was also interested in working with him again. It's still existing. He is a world-class coach and that's why it's always an option."

Arsenal closing in on Caglar Soyuncu

Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu is in concrete talks with the Premier League giants over a summer move. His agent, Mustafa Dogru has revealed that personal terms have already been agreed with Arsenal.

He told Turkish Football, "Sven Mislintat has been keen on Caglar since he was at Borussia Dortmund. He first scouted him back in Germany. Sven is interested in Caglar, there are concrete talks, all that remains is for a fee to be agreed. We will see what happens next.”
