Another one of the promising U-21 Spain national team’s player . He is certainly not worth 39 million, Real Madrid should’ve used that money for Luis Suarez as a replacement for Higuain, but instead they went after a mid-fielder and splashed a lot of money . With Casemiro, Xabi Alonso , Sami Khedira and Luka Modric already present, it was a completely foolish decision to buy Illarramendi.
Verdict: 3/10 - Overrated, costly and surplus
