The bloke needs no introduction at all. Cristiano Ronaldo has been the flag-bearer for Real Madrid since he signed up for them in 2009 for a then world-record fee of £80 million.

Over the course of his 9-year stint, he developed himself into one of the two megastars who have collectively dominated the footballing scene for the past decade. In the 438 outings he made across all competitions, the Portuguese notched up a staggering 450 goals.

Ronaldo bade adieu to Los Blancos this summer following his switch to Juventus for a fee worth £99.2 million which made the transfer the highest ever for a player over 30 years old and the highest ever paid by an Italian club. Thus far, the 5-time Ballon d'Or winner has failed to register a single goal for Juventus.
