Alvaro Morata: EPL bound?

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly keen on making the move to England, with both Manchester United and Arsenal potential destinations for the Spaniard.

Morata has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal very keen suitors of the Spanish striker.

According to the Daily Star, Arsene Wenger is looking at the young Spaniard to boost his chances of silverware next season. Morata, currently at Real Madrid, is at the bottom of the pecking order for Los Blancos, with Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale occupying the forward spaces.

Reports in Spain suggest Morata is keen to get first-team football elsewhere, with the forward out of contract at the end of next season. Madrid are keen to sell the forward, but want to include a buy-back clause in any possible deal.

Morata was the main man in last summer’s Under-21 European Championship in Israel, scoring four goals for Spain and winning the Golden Ball as top scorer in the tournament. He is regarded as one of the finest young talents in Spain.

Wenger has been unable to provide the Giroud with regular breaks and after a great start to the season, Giroud started to suffer and seemed to be struggling in the fatigue department.
