Real Madrid to revive interest in David De Gea next summer

After a failed bid to bring David De Gea to the Bernabeu in 2015, Real Madrid are set to revive their interest in the Manchester United custodian next summer. Diario Gol has reported that the reigning European champions will reignite their pursuit of one of the best goalkeepers in the world after next year's World Cup in Russia.

It is also believed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has told current no.1, Keylor Navas, that this will be his last season with Los Blancos as the Madrid boardroom sees David De Gea as the club's long term goalkeeper.

FC Barcelona chief gives update on Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi's future

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has revealed that the club are close to agreeing an extension for two of their biggest superstars in Messi and Iniesta.

Fernandez said: "I point to our president's words regarding Messi. The signing is an act which could happen at any moment. I hope it's soon. And what we want is that Andres is here for many more years and that he ends his career here. I'm convinced that will happen.”
