Ronaldo backs Rashford to shine for Real

Cristiano Ronaldo has asked the Real Madrid board to keep a close eye on Manchester United's Marcus Rashford for a potential transfer next season, reports Don Balon.

Reports claim that Ronaldo has approved Rashford's ability to be a top player for Real Madrid and will be an ideal replacement for Karim Benzema.

Manager Zinedine Zidane is under pressure to bring a superstar at The Bernabeu next summer and Zidane has made a 3-man shortlist featuring Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Paulo Dybala, and United's teenage sensation Rashford.

Rashford has started the season well by managing 5 goals and 4 assists in 12 appearances and has been the first choice left winger for Jose Mourinho.

Although Rashford is happy at United, Real Madrid believe they can persuade him to sign for them given their rich history and recent success on the pitch.

Zidane not giving up on Kane

There is no end to Kane to Real Madrid rumours

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane wants to sign Harry Kane next summer despite Florentino Perez refusing to pay the quoted £171million valuation for the Spurs striker, reports Diario Gol.

Zidane wants to bring an instant replacement for Karim Benzema and is hellbent on signing Kane after his impressive displays in last 3 seasons.

To his credit, Kane has done very little to fend off Real Madrid's interest by claiming that it would be tough for him to refuse a move if the Los Blancos come calling.

Despite Zidane's beliefs, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino believes Kane will stay at Tottenham and will achieve great things with the North London club.

In a recent interview, Pochettino crushed Real Madrid's hopes where he said: “He really takes it in his stride. Harry is a really mature lad, he sees things really clearly."

Kante linked with Real Madrid switch

Real Madrid are following N'Golo Kante's stint at Chelsea and according to Marca, Los Blancos will make a £60million move for the Frenchman next summer.

According to reports, Kante is not happy with the managerial tension between Antonio Conte and the club which has led to a poor start to the season for the defending Premier League Champions.

Kante is also not happy with the way Conte dealt with Diego Costa's situation at the club which led to the striker's exit and the former Leicester midfielder is prepared to weigh out his options and accept Real Madrid's offer if the Spanish club does make a move.
