Ever since Zinedine Zidane took over the reins at Real Madrid, a lot of French stars are on the news. At first, it was N’Golo Kante and then it went to Paul Pogba and now, Raphael Varane, too, is making the headlines.

The French defender apparently doesn’t want to stay at Real Madrid. According to Jose Luis Sanchez, who is very reliable when it comes to Madrid, Varane has informed the club of his wish to leave.
He has a release clause of €200 million but Madrid would want to receive at least €100 million.
Meanwhile, Paul Pogba has been linked to Madrid but it might all be a smokescreen. According to reports, Zinedine Zidane would not have openly displayed his interest if he really wanted to sign him and actually did that to make Pogba a smokescreen to sign someone else.
