More on Madrid players. Zinedine Zidane has come out to claim that Karim Benzema won’t leave the club this summer. The Galacticos are heading towards a summer of major overhaul where a lot of players are expected to make way for fresh faces.

And while Benzema’s name has also been put as a potential departure, Zinedine Zidane doesn’t think that that is going to happen. He stated that Benzema has been at the club for a long time and this season has been his best, which is why he still counts on him.

"Karim is here 10 years, doing well," Zidane said.

"This year is maybe his best year. And we are happy with him. I will count on him, there are nine games left, and that is the most important, to finish the season well. Then we will see what happens, but Karim is a player at this club and I don't believe that will change."
