Hello and welcome to the Real Madrid transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories of the day surrounding the Blancos!

Balague on Madrid transfer

Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has stated that Real Madrid are looking to sign one of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. The PSG duo have been on the radar of the Galacticos for a while now and Balague states that should the Merengues sign one of them, they would have to ensure that their next signings complement Mbappe or Neymar.

However, he adds, should the Blancos fail to bring either one of them, then Christian Eriksen and Eden Hazard have been targeted.

“I think Real Madrid want to see the possibility about getting one of the superstars from PSG, either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar,” Balague said.

“If that happens, then obviously there would be different targets to complement the arrival of one of them.

“But if it doesn’t happen, then they’ve got in their mind to get Hazard, [Christian] Eriksen or a few others.

“But they cannot put all of their eggs in one basket because they need to confirm whether PSG would look at selling Mbappe or Neymar.”

Real Madrid want Rabiot

Reports from Spain claim that Real Madrid are targeting a move for Barcelona target Adrien Rabiot. The Galacticos want an eventual successor for Modric, who is in his 30s now, and have, as a result, eyed the Frenchman.

The idea is to pay him €12 million-per-year for the PSG star and also give him a €15 million signing on fee for the player’s entourage.

Complications

According to AS, Real Madrid are in a bit of a quandary right now with the sanction placed on Chelsea. The Galacticos can’t sign Kylian Mbappe and Neymar because PSG have made it clear that they won’t negotiate.

In the case of Christian Eriksen, Perez is not too keen to negotiate with Daniel Levy after already running through him twice with Bale and Modric.
