Gareth Bale has become somewhat of a headache for the Blancos. When he was signed in 2013, he was supposed to be the successor to the throne of Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, while he has played an important part in Madrid winning trophies in the past few years, his injury problems have ensured that he had an inconsistent time at the Santiago Bernabeu.

As a result, the Merengues want him out this summer but even that is proving to be a difficult task since there seems to be no club interested in making a big-money move for the Welshman.

However, according to recent reports, Manchester United want to sign the former Spurs star – but it will be on a loan move instead of outright buying him. The Red Devils are prepared to take him on loan with an option to extend it for another year.
