Hello and welcome to the Real Madrid transfer news and rumours of the day! Here are the top stories of the day surrounding the Blancos!

Arsenal should go for Bale

Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires has claimed that Arsenal should make an attempt to sign former Tottenham star Gareth Bale. The Real Madrid forward has been going through a very rough time at the Bernabeu and Pires believes that this could be his last season at Madrid.

“I think there’s a good chance Gareth Bale might be playing his last season at Real Madrid,” Pires said.

“He is having a very tough time on and off the pitch at the moment, and there are a lot of questions about how settled he is in the dressing room and how appreciated he is by the fans.”

As a result, Pires believes that Bale is unhappy at Real Madrid and might be considering a move to the Premier League. He also added that Arsenal should make a move for Gareth Bale, even if it doesn’t go down well with the Spurs fans.

“You can see that Bale is an unhappy player at the moment. I think coming back to the Premier League is the most logical step for Gareth Bale.

“There’s an assumption that he would go back to Tottenham, but I would encourage Arsenal to open the door to the Emirates for him.

“I know Tottenham fans would not be happy, but Bale would be very welcome at Arsenal. I hope the club tries to see if it is an option this summer.”

Raul to Madrid

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos doesn’t want Jose Mourinho to take over the helm at Real Madrid. As a result, according to reports, the has named Mauricio Pochettino as his preferred alternative but should Mourinho still be chosen, he wants Raul as the Portuguese’s assistant.

Harry Kane to Madrid

Real Madrid want to fill up the goal-scoring void left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and have, as a result, eyed a move for Harry Kane in the summer, according to reports. He could cost around €180 million and Real Madrid are willing to pay that amount.
