United want Varane in exchange for De Gea

Manchester United have softened their stance on selling David De Gea in near future and are reportedly ready to deal with Real Madrid for a possible transfer for the goal-keeper next season.

Diario Gol claims that De Gea is no longer determined to stay at United after their sloppy start to the season and has made his mind of joining Real Madrid next season.

United, however, have made it very clear to the Spanish Champions that they would need to sell Raphael Varane in order to stand any chance of signing De Gea.

Jose Mourinho is determined to work with a world-class centre-back and Varane is his first choice, according to Manchester Evening News.

With Manchester United struggling to fight for the Premier League title this season, the club feels this is the best time to cash-in on De Gea, who is enjoying the best form of his life and is regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world.

Ronaldo wary of Kane's signing

Ronaldo does not want to see Kane at Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to stop Harry Kane's expected arrival at Real Madrid by forcing Florentino Perez to sign wingers instead of an out and out striker, reports Don Balon.

The news has made it's round over the last few weeks and Don Balon picked up on the story and have added a new point where Ronaldo wants to see the likes of Eden Hazard or Anthony Martial join the club as it would allow the Portuguese to play in a more central role next season.

Karim Benzema's time at the club seem numbered as he has messed up many big chances this season and continue to disappoint in bigger matches. Real Madrid are eying a massive overhaul in the summer which could see as many as 4 new faces join the club.

Real Madrid to make a January move for Mata

SL Benfica v Manchester United - UEFA Champions League
Is Mata about to rejoin La Liga?

Juan Mata is the latest to be linked with a move to Real Madrid in January as Zinedine Zidane looks to save his season after a poor start to their La Liga's defence.

Daily Mirror reckons Mata is ready to quit Manchester United after being left on the bench by Jose Mourinho for all big matches.

Mata is still one of the best playmakers in European football and a chance to move back to Spain is something which Real Madrid are hoping to use to their advantage and sign him in January.

Man United are looking to offload players in January as well to make room for new additions as Mourinho himself is desperate to sign new players but has been told to sell first before getting additional funds for new signings.
