#3 Exequiel Palacios on Madrid

Argentine midfielder Exequiel Palacios has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a while now. The Galacticos have watched the player a few times and the player’s representatives have also spoken of Madrid’s interest in him.

And now, the player himself has spoken about the Galacticos. Palacios expressed his honour at being on Madrid’s radar and admitted that he is trying to keep calm amid all the talks of him joining the Santiago Bernabeu.

“It is a pride that Real Madrid looks at me,” he said.

“It's hard to get away from all the things that are said in social networks. I try to be calm and to enjoy every day. My friends want me to stay and live here."

He then spoke of his gratitude and love for River Plate for giving him the opportunity to play in their first team, which he has taken with both hands.

"When one reflects, begins to realise what can happen, Real Madrid is a very big club.

"My head was always here at River, I wanted to take advantage and have the chance to play and be in the starting lineup. Luckily, it was given to me and I'm taking full advantage of it.”

Finally, he added that no matter what decision he takes, his family will support him and that he is enjoying all the great things that have happened to him of late.

“My family is going to respect my decision, and in a very short time, a lot of good things happened to me.

“But, well, you have to be calm and enjoy this."

#2 Eriksen’s huge price tag revealed

Amid rumours of Real Madrid being interested in signing Spurs superstar Christian Eriksen, AS have revealed that the north London outfit have slapped a huge asking price of €250 million on the Dane when the Galacticos enquired about him a couple of months ago.

The former Ajax star is yet to sign a contract with the Lilywhites, which means that he is susceptible to being linked with a move out of the club. Barcelona were interested in him last year as they saw him as an alternative for Philippe Coutinho.

With the Brazilian now at the Camp Nou, it is likely that the Galacticos are leading the race to sign the midfielder. However, he might end up staying with the Lilywhites as football.london report that he is likely to sign a new deal with the Londoners since he is happy there at this point in time.

#1 Harry Kane and Koulibaly

Real Madrid have been linked with a plethora of attackers for a long time now. The Galacticos haven’t replaced the goals that Cristiano Ronaldo took with him to Turin and, as a result, they have been struggling ever since.

And if this report from Don Balon is to be believed, then Harry Kane is the prime target for the Merengues. The Bernabeu outfit have offered Gareth Bale – who they rate at €120 million – and €100 million for the Englishman.

Spurs, however, don’t want to lose Kane to bring Bale.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the Galacticos are planning to hijack Manchester United’s deal for Kalidou Koulibaly. The Merengues are planning to make a £90 million bid to sign him.
