Ronaldo wants a new deal

Cristiano Ronaldo wants a new deal and a significant wage hike from Real Madrid following Lionel Messi's new and improved contract at Barcelona, reports Sport.

The report claims that Ronaldo wants to be valued more by the Los Blancos and is open to extending his stay with the club but only if they increase his salary.

Earlier in the year, rumours of a swap deal between Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar surfaced which hinted at Florentino Perez's vision to bring Neymar as Ronaldo's long-term replacement.

However, Don Balon understands that Ronaldo is desperate to beat Messi by winning the sixth Ballon d'Or next season and he is aware that he can achieve that easily if he stays with Real Madrid.

That is the reason why the 32-year-old superstar has put forward his wage demands and has asked his team to get the new contract which could possibly see Ronaldo even retire at Santiago Bernabeu.

Rivaldo says Neymar will not join Real Madrid

Neymar wants to win the Champions League with PSG

Former Barcelona and Brazil legend Rivaldo claims Neymar will not move to Real Madrid anytime as he has a lot to achieve at PSG and his ties with Barcelona would also be a factor.

In a recent interview with Cadena SER [AS] Rivaldo said: "At the moment I cannot imagine Neymar dressed in white. He has to make history (at PSG). PSG is his team now and we'll see what happens next. I do not think Neymar is going to play in Madrid."

Despite Rivaldo's claims Neymar is tipped to join Real Madrid next summer as Florentino Perez has been in continuous talks with Neymar's father ahead of a summer transfer move.

Neymar's move to Bernabeu would also decide Cristiano Ronaldo's future the club as Perez sees Neymar as Ronaldo's eventual replacement and does not want to deal with both of them in the same dressing room.

Chelsea join the race for Asensio

Expect another battle between Mourinho and Conte

Manchester United will face competition from their League rivals Chelsea to sign the Real Madrid outcast Marco Asensio, according to Daily Star.

Asensio's unhappiness and manager Zinedine Zidane's lack of confidence in the 21-year-old has been reported several times in the last week amid which Chelsea are hopeful of snapping the highly rated playmaker away from Bernabeu.

Asensio has completed just 3 matches since October and is certain to quit Real Madrid in January with Man United and Chelsea fighting for his signature.

According to the leading bookmakers, Man United are the favourites to sign Asensio, however, Chelsea are expected to submit a bid beyond £70million which would make this transfer battle run until the end of January transfer window.
