Real Madrid left-back Marcelo has opened up about Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese was sacked by the Red Devils earlier today. Mourinho has been linked with the job at the Bernabeu, despite the fact that he left with a sour taste, and Marcelo had something to say about it.

At first, the Brazilian praised the former Real Madrid manager. He stated that the Portuguese is a great manager and that it is sad that he is without a club now. He then added that it is not up to him to decide if he comes back to Madrid before thanking Mourinho for helping him during his time at the Bernabeu.
"I know you're asking me why; he's a coach who has been at Madrid. It's a shame, because he's a great coach and he's without a club,” Marcelo said.
"If he returns to Madrid, I am not the one who decides these things. I thank Mourinho for what he did for me at Madrid."
