Aubameyang nears a summer move to PSG

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has all but agreed a move to PSG this summer after meeting with the French club’s sporting director Patrick Kluivert on Wednesday evening. The news has been confirmed by RMC, who further claim that PSG will pay €70 million for Aubameyang’s signature.

According to Bild, PSG are prepared to pay Aubameyang a salary of £11.8m-per-year to ensure Real Madrid don’t get their hands on the Gabon international. Aubameyang was linked with a summer move to Real Madrid throughout this season and the striker himself described it as his dream move.

However, Real Madrid’s interest in Eden Hazard allowed PSG to make a late swoop for the Dortmund striker who has scored 37 goals in 47 appearances this season.

Messi is not a happy man

Lionel Messi has sensationally lashed out at Barcelona’s officials for the club’s inability to compete with Real Madrid on domestic and European fronts this season, reports Diario Gol.

Barcelona trail Real Madrid in the race for the La Liga title this season and are already out of the Champions League while Real have virtually sealed their place in the Champions League final this season with a 3-0 first leg win over Atletico Madrid.

Messi believes club chief Roberto Fernandez has signed the wrong players in recent seasons which has allowed the Madrid club to pull away and dominate Spanish football. Messi is yet to agree to the new contract he was offered earlier this season with Neymar also being linked with a move away from Camp Nou.

A smart move indeed

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez ahead of a summer transfer, according to reports from Daily Star (via Don Balon).

Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the Colombian and is desperate to sign a mobile and goal-scoring number 10 ahead of the next season. Don Balon believes that James is convinced with Mourinho’s ideologies and has already said no to a big-money move to the Chinese Super League.

Wijnaldum has impressed in his limited opportunities this season

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has emerged as a shock transfer target for Real Madrid. It was widely known that Real were interested in signing Eden Hazard, however, Chelsea’s determination to keep hold of the Belgian has forced Real to look elsewhere.

According to reports from Tuttomercatoweb, manager Zinedine Zidane has kept a close eye on Wijnaldum and admires the work rate he has shown for Liverpool this season.

The Dutch international has managed five goals and six assists this season, and although those are nowhere near the numbers needed to be a Real Madrid player, a £30m bid is expected this summer. Jurgen Klopp is not in favour of selling the 26-year-old star, however, Liverpool will be forced to sell the midfielder if Madrid come calling with a big-money offer.
