Real Madrid's football clinic - Ronaldo's chop-shot, Isco's close control and Benzema's bicycle kick

Karim Benzema’s bicycle kick goal was disallowed due to suspicion that he was offside

Although Real Madrid secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Elche, they did produce some moments of brilliant skill that enthralled the crowd.

The first such instance came as early as the fourth minute of the match, when Cristiano Ronaldo cushioned a pass from Karim Benzema brilliantly with a chop, to set himself up for a wonderful curling effort, which unfortunately came back off the upright.

Karim Benzema is very crucial to Real Madrid’s success, and he is the player who makes their fluid front three click so well.

The Frenchman produced a moment of magic and scored a goal from a bicycle kick last night against Elche, only to be cruelly denied by the offside flag, which incidentally was the wrong decision.

Another enthralling display of skill came from Isco, who was brilliant on the night. He exhibited great composure on the ball and dazzled everyone with his close control, as he wriggled out of a tight spot where he was surrounded by three defenders, without conceding possession.
