Football Leaks website has struck again and this time, it has revealed details about Real Madrid attacking midfielder James’s contract. The contract leak is the latest in a series of leaks involving high profile players like Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

According to the document on the website, the Colombian who joined Los Blancos on 22 June 2014, signed on a six-year contract with the remuneration being €7,009,930 in his first season. Automatic raises put him on €7,759,380 after the first season which the Madrid no ‘10’ will get till his contract ends.

The annexe attached in the contract also revealed how much James will earn every half season. The contract leak comes after a series of leaks regarding Real Madrid players like Gareth Bale, Toni Kroos and Xabi Alonso.

Football Leaks is a website which came into prominence in September last year. It has been releasing player contracts and confidential documents since then and clubs will be wary about another confidential document being leaked in the near future.

Manchester United were dealt a blow in their hopes to land the Colombian attacking midfielder when James said that he saw his future at Madrid.

Speaking to Marca, he said: ”I'm doing much better, and that helps a lot. It's not just me. I think the change has been good for everyone. For me it's because Zidane has contributed to our game. We're all playing better. He speaks to everyone and shows real character when match day comes.

"I'm not reproaching anyone. Everything takes its own time and you have to wait. When you get a chance, you always have to be on top of your game"

"I think my future lies at Real Madrid. I want to be here for many years to come and that's my dream."
