Manchester United set for €180 million spending spree on 3 signings in January: Reports

Manchester United have reportedly budgeted €180 million as they look to sign Tyler Dibling, Viktor Gyokeres, and Gregor Kobel in the January transfer window. The Red Devils are looking to bolster Ruben Amorim's squad and the hierarchy believes that the trio could be important players in the future, as per Fichajes.net.

Dibling, 18, has been impressive for Southampton despite their poor run in the Premier League this season. In 19 appearances, the youngster has scored one goal and registered two assists.

The aforementioned report claims that Southampton have set a €35 million transfer fee for the youngster, which the Red Devils are willing to pay.

Meanwhile, Gyokeres, 26, has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford, having previously worked with Amorim at Sporting CP. In 26 appearances this season, the Swede has scored 27 goals and registered five assists. Gyokeres’ reported asking price is in the region of €75 million. However, Fichajes.net believe that Manchester United are committed to signing him.

The Red Devils are also looking to sign Kobel, 27, who is seen as a potential competitor for Andre Onana in goal. The Swiss shot-stopper have kept six clean sheets in 20 games across all competitions this season for Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund are expected to demand €70 million from potential suitors. However, this is a fee that United are reportedly willing to pay as they look to strengthen their backline.

The Red Devils are reportedly willing to let Altay Bayindir leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window. This is according to GiveMeSport (via Transfer News Live on X).

Bayindir joined the Red Devils for a reported €5 million from Fenerbahce in September 2023. However, Bayindir has only featured in four games since joining the Red Devils and has kept only one clean sheet.

The Turkish shot-stopper hasn't had too many opportunities for United, but was at fault for two of the goals they conceded in their recent 4-3 loss against Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup. His contract at the club is valid until 2027.
