Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is reportedly considering selling Marcus Rashford ahead of the January transfer window. The 27-year-old star's contract at Old Trafford is valid until the summer of 2028.
Marcus Rashford was a regular starter for Manchester United when Erik ten Hag was in charge from August 2022 to October 2024. The Englishman has started 11 out of their 12 Premier League fixtures so far this season, scoring twice and assisting once.
He was also included in the starting XI of their last league game against Ipswich Town on November 24, scoring the opener as United drew 1-1. It marked Ruben Amorim's debut match as the Red Devils' new head coach. However, Rashford did not make the starting line-up in the Portuguese manager's second match against FK Bodø/Glimt in the UEFA Europa League on November 28 at Old Trafford.
Now, Fichajes.net has reported that Amorim and the Premier League club are ready to part ways with Marcus Rashford in the upcoming transfer window. Even though his contract is valid for four more years, the club is reportedly considering letting him go due to the deterioration is his form.
Rashford has registered five goals and three assists in 20 appearances across competitions for Manchester United this season. Since starting his senior career with the Red Devils in 2015, the Englishman has netted 136 goals and provided 63 goals in 422 matches for the club.
It remains to be seen if Marcus Rashford is a part of Ruben Amorim's plans for the Red Devils or if the left-winger parts ways with his boyhood club next year.
