Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to battle it out with two other Premier League clubs in their pursuit of Liverpool star Caoimhin Kelleher in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Kelleher, 24, has established himself as the Merseyside outfit's backup goalkeeper behind Alisson Becker since his professional debut in 2019. He has registered 10 clean sheets in 20 appearances for his boyhood club so far.

A right-footed shot-stopper blessed with reflexes and passing, the 10-cap Republic of Ireland international has been speculated to leave the Reds since the turn of the year. He is eager to secure first-team action at club level to press his own claims in his international setup with Southampton star Gavin Bazunu currently ahead in the pecking order.

According to Irish Independent, Tottenham are likely to join Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford in a transfer race to sign Kelleher this summer. Liverpool are willing to let their academy graduate depart for around £20 million.

Tottenham are interested in adding Kelleher to their ranks to dethrone Hugo Lloris as their first-choice goalkeeper. They have earmarked the player as a target due to his fine outings in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup last campaign, with the Reds winning both trophies.

Brighton, on the other hand, are keen to rope in the Irishman as Roberto De Zerbi is hoping to sign a sweeper keeper suited to his high-octane system. Brentford are also monitoring the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League winner due to big question-marks over David Raya's future at the club ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 season.

So far this season, Kelleher has overseen two shutouts in three games across all competitions for Liverpool.

Liverpool eye move for David Soria as backup shot-stopper

According to Todofichajes, Liverpool have expressed an interest in signing Getafe star David Soria as a backup shot-stopper this summer. They have been keeping tabs on the Real Madrid youth product since the turn of the year.

Soria, 30, penned a new contract until June 2026 at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Perez a while ago. However, Jurgen Klopp's outfit could launch a move for him by activating his affordable release clause of around £9 million.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also interested in adding Soria to their squad in the near future.

Soria, who is a two-time UEFA Europa League winner, has been a regular starter for Getafe since arriving from Sevilla for £3 million in the summer of 2018. He has registered 66 clean sheets in 180 overall matches for his club so far.
