Arsenal centre back Laurent Koscielny

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has signed a new five-year contract which will keep him at the Emirates as reported by the French website Le1oSport.com.

The French International, who was a summer target for Paris Saint German, has put pen into paper confirming himself as a Gunner for the next five seasons.

The new deal will keep him tied to the club until 2019.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, made it his priority to retain his squad for the next season and he had already secured the services of other players like Per Metesacker, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky.

With Koscielny confirming his future at the club, the Gunners’ locker room will be confident ahead of their F.A. Cup final against Hull City later this month.

Arsenal have confirmed a fourth place finish in the Premier League.
