Rumour: Louis van Gaal to sign a three year £25m deal with Manchester United, Ryan Giggs to stay

Louis Van Gaal ready to come to United

Louis Van Gaal is close to becoming the next Manchester United manager by signing a three-year contract worth around £25million.

According to reports, the Holland boss wants to sign a deal as early as possible so that he can shift his focus back to the national team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

After the sacking of David Moyes, several elite managers have been linked to fill up the managerial vacancy at United with Van Gaal as the most likely candidate for the position.

And it is believed that the 62-year-old will include Ryan Giggs in his plans as the United interim manager will work with the assistant staff that Van Gaal will bring in to operate things at the Old Trafford.

With the World Cup around the corner, Van Gaal is poised to strike a deal soon so that he can continue his preparations with the Dutch national team ahead of the event. After the World Cup, the former Bayern Munich coach will step down as coach of Holland.

The appointment of Van Gaal is highly anticipated among the Red Devils supporters as his arrival also increases the possibility of bringing in prolific names like Southampton’s Luke Shaw, Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos, Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus and Matt Hummels.
