Netherlands international Memphis Depay is keen on making the move to Manchester United this summer, according to Voetbal International, after interest in the young talent emerged recently from the Red Devils.

Depay is currently training with the Holland squad under Louis van Gaal, who is set to relinquish his position as manager of the national side in the summer to take over at Old Trafford.

The close link with van Gaal has led to rumours that Depay has instructed his agent to make the move to United happen. The 20-year-old has been in scintillating form for PSV this season and Manchester United have been keeping close tabs on the tricky winger.

Depay has been selected in Holland’s World Cup squad, however, his agent has remained quiet on any potential move to United after the tournament.

Depay’s agent Kees Ploegsma jr told reporters: “Memphis should just concentrate on the World Cup to show what progress he has made. Then we’ll see.”

Depay has made himself a reputation in Holland after some eye-catching performances in the Eredivisie this season. He has scored 13 goals for the Dutch side and his £15 million price-tag will not put off Manchester United or van Gaal according to reports.
