Portuguese striker Bebe could finally cut ties with Manchester United after Sporting Braga expressed their interest in signing the player.
Sir Alex Ferguson signed the youngster for £7.3 million from Vitoria de Guimaraes back in 2010 on the recommendation from his former assistant Carlos Quieroz. Since then, Bebe has somewhat been of an embarrassment in a Manchester United shirt making only seven appearances for the Red Devils.
The 23-year-old had a fruitful spell with Pacos de Ferreira scoring 12 goals in 27 games including a screamer of a free kick against Desportivo Aves and has now caught the attention of Braga.
Bebe, who played a big part in keeping Pacos de Ferreira in the top flight, recently expressed his desire to permanently seal a move with a club in his homeland.
The striker, who hasn’t appeared in a single Premier League match for United, will most likely never be a part of the first team with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie, Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez and now James Wilson in the fray so a move away from Old Trafford would be best for both parties.
