Gareth Bale named in Real Madrid squad for friendly against AS Roma
Gareth Bale has been included in Real Madrid's squad for the upcoming pre-season game against AS Roma on Sunday. Bale has been left out of Real Madrid's recent trips. He did not feature for them against RB Salzburg and was left out of the club's trip to Germany as well.
The Welshman was inching closer towards securing a move to Chinese club Jiangsu Suning as he looked set to call it a day on his Real Madrid career spanning 6 years. He was also not at all pleased with how Zinedine Zidane threw his name around in a press conference and said that the sooner he leaves, the better it would be for the club.
Bale chose to skip Real Madrid's subsequent trips as he was enraged by the treatment meted out to him by Zidane and Florentino Perez and did not feel like he was in the right frame of mind to be playing.
