Scottish Football Association extends partnership with Adidas

Scottish Football Association (SFA) has decided to extend its partnership with German sportswear group Adidas which will see the governing body retain Adidas as their official supplier till 2018.

As a part of the deal, Adidas will continue to manufacture the away and home kits along with training apparels for all the teams under the SFA.

“By confirming these contracts, we feel that we are continuing to elevate the profile of our national teams and ensuring that our supporters around the world have access to the very best merchandise and replica kits. The money that we generate through this partnership continues to support our strategic objectives, particularly in the performance and grassroots areas,” said Stewart Regan, SFA chief executive.

The two has been associated since 2009 and Adidas Area North brand director, Nick Craggs added that he is delighted with the deal.

“Both Adidas and the Scottish FA have a long and proud heritage in football and we are delighted that we are able to continue that partnership for another five years. Adidas is also committed to encouraging youngsters to participate in sport and we are especially pleased that we can help the Scottish FA continue to develop its grassroots activities,” he said.
