Diaz who debuted as a 15-year-old in the top division of the Paraguayan League was reportedly a target for English clubs Manchester United and Liverpool in 2015, when Diaz stood out at the U20 South American Championships in Uruguay.

Diaz who hails from Itauguá, is a diminutive forward who is comfortable playing the role of a second striker. His ability to weave between defenders who stand taller them along with his low centre of gravity has often led to comparisons with Argentine marksman – Sergio Aguero.

Considered as the most exciting prospect in Paraguay since Roque Santa Cruz, Diaz knows he has to consistently find the net with the Real Madrid Castilla side if he wants to break into the senior team at Madrid.

If he is to make an impact, then he has to continue his development both physically and mentally and, the exposure with the reserve side of Madrid will ensure that teen develops into something big.
