After having won the Undécima by defeating Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final for the second time, Zizou and co. were looking for the icing on the cake — The UEFA Super Cup.

The Champions League winners found their lead via Marco Asensio in the 21st minute but as the game progressed, Real Madrid lost their grip on the game. Sevilla's sensational comeback handed them a 2-1 lead and stunned their opponents.

But everyone in the Lerkendal Stadion knew that until the final whistle is blown, Real Madrid would still be in the game. And they weren't wrong!

Sevilla were defeated in the dying minutes by Sergio Ramos, who comfortably scored with a header following a Lucas Vázquez cross. The Galacticos won the game 3-2 (AET). Once again it was the Real Madrid Number 4 who stepped up during the clutch moment.
