Manchester United ace Shinji Kagawa is visibly upset with his performance in his maiden Premier League season and has promised the club and its fans that he will definitely spruce up his bit hereafter.

Even in the wake of United’s victory- picking up their 20th league title, the Japanese international could only focus on how his personal performance had let him down.

Kagawa, who transferred from Borussia Dortmund last season said: “It was a tough time for me with a lot going on in my head. I am not happy with my performance for the team at all. I didn’t score that much and I also had my (knee) injury.”

“Despite that, it was great we won the league, I just don’t feel that I achieved everything that I wanted,” he added.

Kagawa was brought in last summer by Sir Alex Ferguson, but was never able to replicate the great form that he had while in Germany with gusto at Old Trafford.

“And I always have an image in my mind of how I want to play, wherever the position,” said the 24-year-old player.

“Whenever there is a tough time, whenever it gets difficult for me, I just train and look ahead to the future.”
