Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has promised to treat his club’s youth team at McDonald’s if his side manages to overcome fellow title hopefuls Chelsea in tomorrow’s crunch clash according to The Metro.

The 33-year-old, whose team are within touching distance of their first ever Premier League title, spent some time with Liverpool’s young guns and even gave them some valuable advice before drawing their attention to the upcoming game against Chelsea.

A win against Chelsea could see Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy.

If the game ends in a victory for the Reds then their youth team will be taken out to lunch at McDonalds by Gerrard.

The youngsters are sure to be extremely excited as Gerrard, who came through the ranks at Liverpool, has promised to let them eat to their hearts content if his side walk away with three points.
