Adebayo Akinfenwa, the strongest player in the world according to EA Sports (Rating of 97), is an imposing figure on the pitch. Weighing more than a 100 kilograms at 5’11”, the player shot to fame when the popular gaming franchise proclaimed him stronger than any other professional footballer out there.

The Wimbledon player though isn’t satisfied. The forward was given an overall rating of 63, with a speed of 53 and acceleration of 34 and he isn’t happy about it.

While speaking to The Telegraph, he said

“I didn’t realise how big Fifa was until last year. I’d always been one of the strongest players in the game, but officially in Fifa 14 I was the strongest in the world.

"If they say so, I must be. I like that.

“I’ve played as myself a few times and I’m very slow. I’ve asked Fifa to make me a little bit quicker, but you can’t have everything. I’ve always been big, my brothers are my size, we come from good stock.”

Beast Mode: Akinfenwa can bench press 180 kgs

In December 2012, the now 32-year-old, harbouring hopes of a Premier League move had said that he’d love to face up against the likes of Terry and Vidic.

While the chances of him facing Vidic, who has moved to Inter Milan are bleak, he got half of his wish fulfilled when Chelsea played a pre-season friendly against his club last month. Although he didn’t score, he did catch a lot of attention on the pitch.
