The Bayer Munich star scored 41 goals this season and he will surely be in the race for the Golden boot award. He is known to be a game-changer and a proficient striker. Likely to play every game, and with his current form, Gomez is all set to have a tournament to remember.
The highest paid footballer in the world and the first player to win all the PFA and FWA awards will be another superstar contesting for the European Golden boot. Ronaldo mainly operates as a winger but is known to get in the right place at the right moment and this has helped him score 269 goals for his clubs and 32 for his national team.
5 . Wayne Rooney
Rooney is set to play a fundamental role this season for England. The Englishman has been deadly in front of the goal since many years. It is entirely possible that Wayne wins the Golden boot award for the Poland – Ukraine Euro cup.
