Thierry Henry back home as he rejoins Arsenal

According to reports, striker Thierry Henry is all set to make a sensational comeback to Arsenal for his third term, on loan. An agreement is being etched out with his club, New York Red Bulls and Arsene Wenger seems to be interested in keeping him as long as possible.

However, the American club do not look keen on loaning him for anything more than a six-week contract, much like the last season.

He holds the distinction of being the highest goal scorer for Arsenal (228 goals) and the Frenchman is likely to begin his training this month. Wenger would badly need him play in the games from January as he praised Henry saying, “Henry is the talent that you dream to have. He has fantastic physique, fantastic technique, a fantastic brain, all built together in one man. At the start, he was not confident enough but he has gone on to show what a great player he is.”

The former French striker would definitely remain as the much needed temporary solution for the Gunners, as Gervinho leaves to Ivory Coast on national duty for the African Cup and the clouds surrounding Theo Walcott‘s contract negotiations have not cleared yet.

Henry is believed to be in good form as he had an excellent season with Red Bulls, scoring 15 goals from 29 games.
