Ki (C) applauds the Swansea faithful

Swansea City and South Korean midfielder, Ki Sung-Yueng began his career in 2006 with FC Seoul and spent three years at the club. Scottish giants Celtic signed the player in 2009 and the South Korean spent three seasons in Glasgow, Scotland, learning the European style and the intensity of the game.

Swansea City captured the player in 2012 and he has been part of the setup since at the Welsh club, although he did spend a year on loan to Sunderland. Having made over 150 appearances for Swansea, the 28-year-old is third on the list of highest scoring Asians in the PL with 13 goals.

10 out of the 13 came for Swansea City while three of the goals were scored during his season on loan with Sunderland. An industrious player, Ki has scored some important goals and put in some superb shifts for Swansea City in central midfield.

Having made 97 appearances for South Korea, he is only a handful of caps away from making it to the 100 games club for his country.
