Getting not one but TWO superstars in the form of Lionel Messi and Kobe Bryant to share a screen promised to be a herculean task, but that didn’t seem to faze Turkish Airlines, who created some brilliant commercials featuring the duo.

#3 2014 World Cup Lays Commercial
This hilarious Lays commercial released during the 2014 World Cup is absolutely brilliant for two reasons – its clever concept and the terrific charm of its lead star – Messi. The film opens with Messi strolling down a street with a gigantic packet of Lays in his hands.
Of course, Messi being Messi is recognised by literally everyone he encounters, with people clamouring next to him to get a selfie. After Messi, being the sweet individual he is, is done posing for his scores of fans, he reaches into the packet only to find that his fans took a little more than a selfie, leaving him with an empty packet.
However, despite finding his packet empty, Messi still put on a smile and resorts to a hilarious trick in the end, which you’ll find out about when you watch the video.

Messi has appeared in numerous brilliant commercials for Adidas, but this one particularly stands out as it encompasses not just his skills but also his honest, down-to-earth values he incorporates into his game and how they inspire his fans.
