42-year-old Kerala Blasters goalkeeper, Sandip Nandy joined the Kochi-based franchise in 2014 from Mohun Bagan. The West Bengal-born keeper began his career in 1999 at Mohun Bagan before moving to rivals East Bengal in 2002.

The former Indian national keeper also played for Mahindra United, Churchill Brothers and Chirag United during his career. Nandy has made 16 appearances for India and retired from international football in 2013.

The goalkeeper has kept 6 clean sheets in 14 appearances for the club in three seasons with a 42.9% shutout rate. David James was in goal for a season for the Blasters as Nandy dropped to the bench. He recently overtook James in the clean sheets column who has 5 to his name.

A veteran goalkeeper who has travelled the country playing the game might be set for his last competitive league season as a professional goalkeeper.
