Manchester United v Manchester City - EFL Cup Fourth Round
Jose Mourinho won the treble with Inter Milan in 2010

Jose Mourinho is undeniably one of the most controversial and most successful managers in football history. The Manchester United gaffer earns a reported £15 million per year basic salary minus the bonuses.

The Portuguese worked as an assistant manager at FC Porto and Barcelona before moving to Benfica in 2000. Mourinho came into the limelight after he led Porto to a Champions League title in 2004. This unprecedented success led him to bag the Chelsea job and the rest is history.

Mourinho got the Manchester United job in 2016 from the out-going Louis Van Gaal and recently signed a new contract until 2020 with an option to extend for one year. This reaffirmed that the board has faith in the former Real Madrid manager. Mourinho won the Europa League and League Cup title in his inaugural season and will be looking to add more trophies in future.
