#3 Naby Keita

There was immense hype surrounding Naby Keita when the midfielder joined Jurgen Klopp's Liverpooin the summer of 2018. The Guinea midfielder had risen to prominence during his time in Germany with RB Leipzig and had been named in the Bundesliga Team of the Year for the 2016-17 season.

Keita made a promising start to life at Anfield, but injuries and a lack of consistency meant he was often left out of the starting line-up by Jurgen Klopp.

He has fallen behind the likes of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner in the pecking order at Anfield, and has thus far been unable to justify the £48 million Liverpool paid for his services.

The 26-year-old has three years left on his contract with Liverpool but continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

#4 Ivan Perisic

Croatian winger Ivan Perisic is regarded as one of the most talented and versatile wingers in the modern game. The 32-year-old impressed during his two years with Club Brugge in Belgium and earned himself a move to Borussia Dortmund in 2011.

Perisic was a part of the Dortmund squad that won the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal in the 2011-12 season. He made 41 appearances and scored nine goals in his first season under the management of Jurgen Klopp.

Perisic, however, found opportunities hard to come by in his second season with the club. He told Croatian channel Nora TV that he had received no support from Jurgen Klopp and accused the manager of favoring other players. He was eventually sold to Wolfsburg in 2013.

#5 Ciro Immobile

It is hard to believe that one of the most prolific strikers in Europe was unable to thrive under the management of Jurgen Klopp. Ciro Immobile signed for Borussia Dortmund after an impressive season with Italian club Torino, for whom he scored 22 goals in 33 Serie A appearances.

Immobile was signed as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who left Borussia Dortmund to join Bayern Munich. Immobile struggled to fill the Pole's shoes and managed to score just three goals in 24 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side in his sole season with the club.

Immobile was sent on loan to Sevilla and Torino for the next two seasons, before eventually being sold to Lazio, where he has gone on to become a key figure for the club.
