Liverpool is enjoying their best season under Jurgen Klopp and is currently sitting at the third place on the Premier League table. They also managed to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League after nine years and will face Manchester City in a bid to reach the semi-finals.

Although Jurgen Klopp's philosophy of football is more based on collective team play, there are certain players who shine above all and are making a name of their own.

So, without much ado let us look at the top 5 Liverpool players so far in this season.

#5 Emre Can

Liverpool FC v NK Maribor - UEFA Champions League

The German joined Liverpool in 2014 and played more than 100 PL games for the club, He is in the last year of his contract with Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp and the boardroom is trying their best to tie the German in a new contract.
