Top 5 strikers in the EPL 2017-18 season

Huddersfield Town v Manchester United - The Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round
Lukaku has 13 premier league goals this season

#4 Alvaro Morata (Chelsea)

Chelsea v West Bromwich Albion - Premier League
Chelsea signed Morata for £70 million

Another player who has not lit up the league at his new club as expected of him, is Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker was bought from Real Madrid in a club record deal and has seen his time at Stamford Bridge partly obstructed by injuries and suspension while showing brilliance at times.

The former Juventus man has 10 goals and 5 assists in 19 premier league appearances this season, which is not a bad tally at all. However, he is far behind fellow forwards Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Mohammed Salah in the golden boot race, something he was expected to challenge for.

The Spaniard has a wide range of attributes and can be deployed as any type of striker. He has the pace to initiate counter-attacks, has great heading ability to be a target man and can even dribble and use skills to take on defenders. His shot power too is something that goalkeepers are wary of.

At only 25 years of age and with more EPL experience to come, he is expected to at least reach the level he was at for Juventus and Real Madrid.
