#3 Alireza Jahanbakhsh

Alireza Jahanbakhsh was signed by Brighton from AZ Alkmaar for a club record fee of 17 million Euros. This transfer always looked questionable as not many former Eredevise players have made a fruitful switch to the Premier League and he has also endured the same fate.
The Iranian winger was involved in 33 goals last year for his former team AZ in the Netherlands, but he has found life much more difficult on the south coast. His time at the AMEX stadium has been cut short due to injuries, a few substitute appearances and he also featured for his country in the Asian Cup.
Chris Hughton clearly had very high expectations from the 25-year-old when he decided to splash out such an amount, but Jahanbakhsh's career at Brighton has been nothing short of a disappointment.
In terms of stats in the Premier League this season, Jahanbaksh has played 11 games and has scored and assisted zero goals.
