Thiago is a player who is well recognized in the Catalan capital. The 27-year-old graduated from Barca's famous academy, La Masia and made it into the first team in 2009.
However, after failing to secure a spot for himself in the line up due to the presence of his idols, Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, the Spaniard eventually departed the club and linked up with Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich in 2013.
Now that his idols are no more at the club, Thiago has been urged to come back and take his place in the Barcelona midfield. A return to Catalonia will be a great move for both the player and the club, due to the decent relationship that exists between the two parties.
In fact, it can be likened to the return home of a legend as the reception at the Camp Nou would be quite incomparable.
