Since bursting onto the scene in 2013, Harry Kane has gone onto score an unprecedented 131 PL goals. Lest we forget, the Spurs striker is only 26 years old. The Englishman has averaged at least 20 goals a season over four of his last five seasons in the PL, winning the golden boot in 2015/16 and 16/17. Only a few other men in history can boast to be multiple golden boot winners.
There’ll never be a season where you can write off Harry Kane. Yes, his team are currently underperforming and void of confidence, but this man is one of the most prolific scorers in Premier League history. Despite playing in a faltering Tottenham side, the England captain has still managed to score six goals in 11 league appearances. Once Spurs find their feet and play in their normal free-flowing nature, the true Harry Kane will appear, and we’ll see a much-improved strike rate.
