Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min have been in scintillating form this season. Against Burnely, the English striker added a goal to his burgeoning league tally this campaign, while the Korean international added two assists.

Kane and Son have already broken the record for the most goal contributions earlier this term; they now have a cumulative 27 goals and 19 assists in the 2020-21 Premier League.

That accounts for more than half the goals scored by Tottenham Hotspur in league games this term, which highlights the importance of the duo. However, overdependence on them could prove to be costly for Jose Mourinho.

Gareth Bale hit the ground running against Burnley. He needed just 75 seconds to mark his first Premier League start of the season with a goal, as his second-minute opener paved the way for a memorable win for the hosts.

Bale scored two goals on the night and also picked up an assist for Kane.

The Welshman has been struggling with injury and form issues for the past two seasons or so, something that continued when he rejoined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer. But recently, Bale has returned to full fitness and is enjoying a great run of form.

Gareth Bale seems to have hit form at the right time, as Tottenham Hotspur are chasing silverware in two competitions and looking to qualify for Europe as well. Bale could turn out to be a key player for his team in that regard.
