After a lacklustre 2018-19 season what saw Dele Alli scoring only five times from 25 matches in the Premier League, a large number of football devotees identified the 23-year-old as an overrated prodigy. I assume you didn't do the same, did you?

Since Jose Mourinho got the Spurs job, fortune has made a swift turnaround for Alli. He has started to show his audience what he is famous for.

Not only has Mourinho's arrival revived his career at Spurs, it also has transformed him into a lethal attacking asset. In the 2019-20 Premier League season, Dele has already registered six goals and three assists to his name. Although Alli has played 90 minutes in Spurs' FA Cup draw with Middlesbrough, Mourinho would not even think of dropping Alli this weekend.

Alli looks comfortable and dangerous when he plays with Harry Kane. But, it is to be seen how his attacking attributes pan out when everybody will be looking at him not only for creating chances but also for drawing the first blood on Saturday.
